Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This page explains how articles on the JG Computing blog are written, checked and kept up to date. It applies to every article we publish from today onwards.
What we write about
We publish practical guides on the work we do for clients: websites and apps, branding, digital marketing, search engine optimisation and IT support, written mainly for small businesses in Cameroon.
Who writes and reviews articles
Articles are written and published by the JG Computing team. Where a named person wrote or reviewed an article, their name and role are shown on it, along with the date it was last reviewed. Articles without a named author are published by JG Computing as a company.
How we check what we publish
- Facts, prices, offers and technical steps are checked against official sources, which we link to.
- Where an article describes how to use software, the steps should come from our own use of it.
- Links are checked before an article is published.
- We do not publish licence keys, activation codes or downloads that we are not authorised to share.
Keeping articles current
Technology changes quickly. When an article becomes outdated or no longer meets this policy, we update it or take it offline until it is rewritten. We do not leave expired offers or past events published as if they were current.
Advertising and affiliate links
Some articles carry advertising, and some may contain affiliate or partner links. Money from either never decides what we write or recommend. Any article with affiliate or partner links says so at the top. See our Affiliate and Promotion Disclosure.
Comments
Reader comments are moderated and only appear after we approve them.
